Our partner in the Teach For All network, Teach First was named the fourth largest graduate recruiter for 2010, with plans to recruit 650 graduates to start teaching in September 2010. The only firms in the UK with more places for graduates are PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and the army.
Teach First ranked seventh overall in the Times Top 100 graduate employers.
Twelve per cent of all Ivy League seniors applied to Teach For America in 2010 and 14 per cent of the incoming corps (2010/11) are professionals with significant work experience.
From December 2009 and March 2010 Universum surveyed 56,900 students from 345 leading US universities and published the Universum Top 100 Ideal Employers. Teach For America was the number 1 ideal employer in the USA for Humanities/Liberal Arts students. They are aiming to recruit 6000 Corp Members this year and will get more thna 45,000 applications.
