The Teach For Australia vision does not stop at the two years Associates spend in the classroom. In order to effect the sort of systemic change which will make our vision of equal opportunity a reality, we need leaders in all sectors with a commitment to social justice and educational equity.
To this end, Teach For Australia recruits outstanding recent university graduates of all disciplines and career interests. Our Associates receive training, support and networking opportunities designed to prepare them for leadership roles in business, education and beyond. Our alumni program provides the opportunity for Associates to stay involved beyond their two years in the classroom, to contribute to the cause of educational excellence and equity for all children across Australia, and to benefit from networking and personal and professional development opportunities.
